Help in choosing which part of my laptop hardware should I overclock

Heya guys, I really need help in choosing parts to overclock. My laptop is running slow on games. Here are 2 options :
1. Processor Overclocking
    I have Intel Core i3, 2.4 GHz, but I want to increase it to 2.8-3.0 GHz
2. Performance Overclocking
    My PC running slow on games, so I want to increase it

I know it's risky because it will shortened the hardware lifetime, but I want to have faster laptop, even I know it's quite fast
