Hello all,
Today, I"ll show you how you can join our IRC Server and Channels.

First of all,

What is IRC?
In the simplest of terms, IRC is a network of chatrooms where each individual chatroom is called a channel. Channels are hosted on servers, and each server maintains its own network of channels. Using an IRC client, you can connect to a server and join the channels on that server. By doing so, you?ll be able to chat with other users who have connected to the same channels on those same servers.

Okay,

1. Connecting with Mibbit.com
It's very easy to connect to IRC using an ajax irc client such as Mibbit. It's very useful if you don't have the proper IRC client installed + It's very easy too. You'll be able to join IRC in just a few steps, which follow:

Step 1:

Open the website chat.mibbit.com

Step 2:
On the screen, you'll be able to select your server, channels to join and of course you nick!

Open the server dialog box by click on "Server"
Enter "irc.gamerxserver.com" in the text box.

In the Channel text box type "#GamerX"

And, not to forget,
In the nick text box, your preferred Nick.

Step 3:
Click CONNECT and you're done. You're connected to IRC.

2. Connection using proper IRC Clients.

So, I'll tell you how to connect to IRC using proper IRC client. It is a bit longer process and requires more concentration.

A list of the Best IRC clients available follows: (with their Download Link)

mIRC

mIRC is the most popular full featured windows IRC client.
Note: mIRC IS NOT FREE.IN THIS PACKAGE YOU GET A 30 DAY TRAIL VERSION.
Download Link: www.mirc.com/get.html
P.S: After you complete the 30 Day Trail, there is still a continue button. (suggested by Soo)

KVIrc
This one is a free IRC client. But I feel it is a bit tough to use for newbies. (A bit complicated.)

XChat
X-Chat was one of the first real contenders to mIRC. Today, it is one of the most well-known IRC clients on the web.
Download Link:http://xchat.org/files/binary/win32/xchat-2.8.9.exe(This is a Direct Link)

I think thats all. They are the best Clients I have known.

(I'll be editing this Page everyday adding more content. Cuz it's difficult to do all this in a single day)
